A small group of Norton and West Chinnock pupils attended the Council Chambers today to present ideas to the Council to help inform their Environmental Strategy. The pupils worked together on the theme of buildings for the future. Four other schools were also represented looking at Travel, Recycling, Energy and Natural World.

Forest School with Class One at Norton - we learnt what we need to build and light a fire and most importantly, how to be safe around a fire. The best bit was toasting a marshmallow at the end!

Congratulations to Class One at Norton on being awarded the Taylor Cup for amazing effort and running their little legs off this term! Also a big well done to everyone as class 4 have counted up and as a school we have ran 1551.8km! If it had been a relay it would have taken us to; Italy, Austria, Norway or Sweden.
